Actually Christopher, I would like to change my reply - the contextmenu for the File Explorer is very likely to be included in next version of WebCoder :)

Hi guys,

First of all, I will post another screenshot tomorrow, along with yet a bit of information about WebCoder 2007 :). Thank you for the kind words so far.

Christopher, I would of course love to have Opera preview as well, but it's really not up to me. I can offer IE preview because Microsoft made sure from the begining that it would work as an ActiveX control too, and I can offer Mozilla preview because the Mozilla coders finally decided to do the same, although it's not quite as easy as with IE :). Hopefully Opera will do the same one day. About the version, I won't promise you a WebCoder 2008 - I don't really think that using a year as version number obligates me to rush out a new version each year. However, you should of course not think of this as the last version of WebCoder :).
Check out printing in the first beta version, and be sure to tell me if you would like it changed, then I will look into it. The "search thingy" is the toolbar for the preview windows, just like in WebPad.NET, and about the file explorer thing, I posted a reply to it in the old post where we last discussed this :)

Trevor, thank you for speaking nicely about WebCoder, it _truly_ means a lot to me. The feature list will look a lot like the one for WebCoder 2005, combined with some of the information I have posted here on the blog. I will have a look at Microsoft Expression Web :)

Hi Kasper.

So, another version to beta test soon eh? I spend about 5 hours a day in front of WebCoder 2005, so I'm really looking forward to running the new one through beta for you like I did with WC2005.

One hopes you've looked at Microsoft's Expression Web (which is on free 60 day trial right now) as that is .net based too.

I really enjoy seeing the progress of this new version, especially the screenshots. Are you making a feature list already?

I am now one of the moderators over at the csscreator forums (a massively popular web design forum) where we have regular debates as to which editor is the best. I always vote for yours of course!

CU soon

Can I have an Opera button up there next to the Firefox one?

A name with "2007" means you will have to come out with a new version every year. Hurray! Now I'll start waiting for Webcoder 2008 as well.

I hope printing will be as nice as in the current version, which prints out perfect multicolored code.

I see a searchy thing at the top - is that for searching through the open document?

Please don't forget about my windows filebrowser request, so I can get at the regular windows context menu from within web coder, if possible.
